Crafted from a historic plot surrounding the Château de Chamboureau, to the east of the municipality of Savennières, this cuvée embodies the soul of the Loire Valley terroir. Rooted in typical schist soils of the appellation, Chamboureau draws from this ancient soil a rare intensity and depth.
This dry white wine, regularly distinguished for its quality, captivates with a gentle attack, enveloping roundness, and remarkable aromatic persistence. The aromas evolve between ripe yellow fruits and, over time, towards more complex exotic notes, bringing a rich indulgence without ever weighing down the structure. Ample and balanced, Chamboureau elegantly accompanies refined dishes such as creamy poultry, noble fish, or washed-rind aged cheese.
It received the prestigious score of 95/100 from American critic James Suckling, praising its finesse, complexity, and exceptional aging potential.
